NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program

FRC is proud to offer our shooters the opportunity to develop and hone their marksmanship skills by participation in the NRA’s Marksmanship Qualification Program.

The NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program (NRAMQP) has been the flagship of the NRA’s training development programs since 1903, and now you can participate and have your progress administered, monitored and recorded by FRC’s NRA Certified Firearms Instructors.  Moreover, as you earn your ratings and awards from Pro-Marksman all the way to Distinguished Expert your progress and achievements will be displayed prominently on FRC’s NRAMQP Leader Board in the lobby of the live fire ranges.

Shooter’s that enroll in the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program can earn the following ratings:

**Shooters may earn Double or Triple Distinguished Expert by completing the top rating in two or three of the pistol disciplines.

Progression is self-paced, and qualifying scores for each award level are challenging but attainable.  Performance is measured against established par scores, and participants who meet or exceed those scores are entitled to, and will receive, the corresponding recognition awards for each individual rating.  Ratings must be earned in sequence from the beginning level.

Shooter Rating Qualifications will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with FRC’s Instructors present or on the honor system up to Expert Level at the shooter’s discretion (Qualification for Distinguished Expert must be witnessed and confirmed by an NRA Instructor).

Enrollment in the program covers the cost for all badges, medals, rockers, and certificates up to Expert  in all 3 disciplines (Distinguished Expert Awards are awarded by the NRA at no cost).  All targets and instruction and guidance on the firing line are also included in the package.

The NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program is an excellent way to sharpen your shooting skills in a structured and quantifiable way while also earning awards and recognition for your achievements!
