FAQ

How many lanes do you have and what is the distance?

We currently offer seven, 25-yard lanes.  We use a digital target carrying system that shows the exact the distance you are shooting to allow for better training and easier certifications.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes, we do.  We offer two levels of membership to suit your shooting needs.  If you are interested in an FRC membership, please click here.

Do you offer gun rentals?

Yes.  Come in and ask about our gun rental and “Try Before You Buy” program, or click here to contact us.

What guns/calibers do you allow on the range?

We welcome all pistol calibers and shotguns and rifles, up to a 308 Winchester or 7.62 NATO.  We limit larger calibers because they can be uncomfortable for other shooters in an indoor space, which leads to safety concerns.

I want to get my Concealed Carry permit.  Do you offer classes?

Yes, we offer classes from NRA certified instructors in our modern, spacious training facility that is climate controlled.  Our facilities offer a lounge and bathrooms for your breaks.  Class descriptions  Class schedules

Do you offer female friendly or female only classes?

All of our classes are female friendly. FRC Range offers a friendly and welcoming environment for all shooters. If there is anything our staff can do to make your range time, shopping experience or training class more comfortable, please speak with an instructor or a member of the management team.

We also offer female only classes for women that may feel more comfortable in that setting.  Please click here for a list of our classes.  Classes that are only open to women will be clearly marked as WOMEN ONLY.

What age are children allowed on the range?  Can I bring my children to the range?

We allow children to shoot at the age of 12 and above as long as they are accompanied by their parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle or their legal guardian.  We do not allow children under 12 on the range for safety.  We also offer a safe viewing area so that people that are unable to shoot or do not want to shoot can watch behind bullet resistant glass.

I'm worried about lead inhalation on the range?  Is this a real concern?

Lead and other contaminant inhalation are a concern in indoor ranges. FRC Range has invested in a state of the art ventilation system specifically designed for shooting ranges that rapidly cycles the air in the range and removes contaminates.  The safety of our shooters, customers and staff come first.

If I don't have ammo, do you sell it?

Yes, we do.  We have a large retail area that sells guns, ammunition and accessories.  We also have targets, ear, and eye protection. To check to see if the ammunition you are interested in is in stock, please call us at 225-926-2550.
